Tiger Corporation (CEO: Yoshisato Kikuchi, Headquarters: Kadoma City, Osaka), a world leader in thermal control technology, will launch the New “ご泡火炊き” series of rice cookers on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
ご泡火炊き series brings together Tiger’s top-tier models, including its flagship model. It pursues the “ideal cooking technique” that draws out the deep sweetness and umami of rice through the intense heat generated by a clay pot, while preserving the distinct texture of each grain by cooking it with the fine bubbles unique to clay pots.
Driven by our commitment to delivering delicious results and continuously meeting our customers’ diverse needs, cumulative shipments since 2019 finally surpassed 1 million units*1 in September 2025. Annual sales for the series have grown more than sevenfold*2 since its launch in 2019 and have increased by approximately 132%*3 compared to the previous year.
Today, it is a popular Tiger rice cooker series boasting cumulative shipments of 1.2 million units*4.


The top-of-the-line model,土鍋ご泡火炊きJRT-A100,” is the 20th anniversary model of our ceramic inner pot series. It represents the culmination of constant evolution, achieved through a dedicated partnership with the skilled artisans who carry on the traditions of the Banko ware craft. To achieve the ideal heat convection, we have completely redesigned both the ceramic inner pot shape and the heating control. The newly developed “Umami Convection design” allows heat to circulate intensely in multiple directions, ensuring that every grain is heated evenly and thoroughly to cook it to a fluffy perfection. “Low-heat IH” Control: The Master Technique for Cooking to the Core This specialized control reproduces the master techniques required to cook rice to a fluffy perfection, right down to the core. During the water absorption stage, the rice is soaked thoroughly at a low temperature of 30°C to 40°C. Subsequently, in the extra heating process, intense heat is applied all at once to draw out the natural sweetness of the rice. Furthermore, the “Takumi Ohitsu warming” feature keeps the rice at its freshly cooked peak, allowing you to enjoy the lingering delight of delicious flavor down to the very last serving.
The premium model,土鍋ご泡火炊き JRL-A100,” also features a genuine ceramic inner pot , just like our top-of-the-line model. This model brings the exceptional taste of freshly cooked clay-pot rice—characterized by its deep sweetness and well-defined grains—even closer to your everyday dining experience.
The high-end model,ご泡火炊き JRI-S100/S180・C060,” is a popular model within theGohobi-Daki series lineup. It continues to receive strong support from many customers for both its delicious taste and convenient functionality. Despite using a metal inner pot, this model achieves high heating power, bubbling, and heat convection similar to those of a ceramic inner pot, cooking rice that is fluffy and full of sweetness. Furthermore, Tiger’s unique “Multi-level Pressure mechanis” provides precise pressure control, allowing heat to penetrate to the core of each grain while maintaining high temperatures. This results in a rich sweetness and exquisitely well-defined grains.

The土鍋ご泡火炊き JRT-A100″ is the top-of-the-line model of theご泡火炊き series. With the high heating power and gentle bubbling that only a ceramic inner pot can provide, it cooks the ideal rice—refined and flavorful, just like the clay-pot rice served at top-class ryotei restaurants. In this 20th anniversary model, we have completely redesigned the shape of genuine ceramic inner pot. By newly adopting the “Umami Convection design,” we have successfully created intense heat convection within the pot, allowing the umami to circulate throughout the entire chamber.
Furthermore, we have fused the “300°C double-layer IH structure”*5—which generates an overwhelming high heating power of approximately 300°C*5 —with our newly developed “Low-heat IH control.” This “Low-heat IH control” also brings innovation to the warming function. Through the newly featured “Takumi Ohitsu warming,” precise temperature management prevents dryness and scorching, maintaining the freshly cooked delicious taste for a long period of time. By preventing the temperature from rising too high during the warming process, it minimizes the drying of the rice and maintains the golden ratio of umami and moisture held within each individual grain. In addition, the model features the newly equipped “Smooth Touch Display” for intuitive operation and the “Partially Milled Rice setting” to meet the needs of health-conscious users.

Boil-over prevention structure [NEW!]
The key factor for ideal cooking is the innovative heat source which combines Tiger’s unique double-layer IH with a new heating structure. The newly added boil-over prevention structure features a modified pressure-control mechanism inside the rice cooker for even greater resistance to boil-over. It helps produce ideal heat and makes cleaning easier.
In combination with the new Umami Convection design, this feature helps distribute heat evenly in the entire inner pot to cook rice.

New technology to draw out sweetness , special technology ”Low-heat IH Control” [NEW!]
This technique scientifically reproduces the process of continuously heating the rice over low heat, which is used to cook rice in a ceramic inner pot at a top ryotei restaurant. Continuous low-heat cooking, which is difficult to achieve with conventional IH control, is made possible by intermittent power control. With the intermittent power control, heat is added slowly to the rice in the last stage of cooking as with the additional heating technique used at a ryotei restaurant. Approximately 19%*6 more sweetness than the previous model.The technique allows the rice cooked in the ceramic inner pot to have flavorful sweetness which unfolds with every bite.

Takumi Ohitsu warming [NEW!]
The highly evaluated Ohitsu warming of the JRX series was upgraded to the Takumi Ohitsu warming by adopting the new low-heat IH control technology. By applying low-heat IH to the keep-warm function, the temperature is prevented from rising excessively, minimizing dryness and maintaining the ideal balance of flavor and moisture in each grain.
By maintaining uniform heat retention that envelops the entire clay pot, it suppresses yellowing, stickiness, keeping the rice fluffy and delicious for up to 24 hours.
